This cake was made with a Wilton football shaped cake pan. I covered the cake with a soft chocolate marshmallow fondant and pressed a numbly paper towel onto it to get a little "pigskin" texture. I cut white strips of fondant for the two stripes. Then very carefully traced the outline of the Dolphin logo onto white fondand by pressing through tracing paper and then cutting it out with an exacto knife. I stuck it on the cake with a little piping gel. This is where my art experience came in.... I used food coloring to "paint" the details.
