A major learning experience!!! I baked most of a wedding cake for my niece and took it to Port Townsend Washington this weekend. I frosted it, covered it with fondant, and decorated it there. Summer is here and wedding season is in full swing. I've finally added more of the recent cakes I've done. One really fun one was the Hawaiian Hibiscus... I have done some gum paste flowers, mostly roses, but this is the first time I've done hibiscus. It was a trial and error thing where I taught myselft how.

Today I helped a friend make cake balls for her daughter's wedding and had two consultations for wedding cakes in the month of November. One is a cupcake wedd...Read Full Post »
